Bonjour, Monsieur Gage!

My piece for the “12-inch Otaku” exhibition, presented by Hellion Gallery at the legendary Hatos bar in Tokyo. Each Portland-based artist was matched with a Tokyo-based band/musician, mine is for Chinza Dopeness. Check him out, he’s rad.
12” x 12” acrylic, ink and aerosol on paper.

I was recently commissioned to customize two Poler tents with some original artwork. House paint on loose nylon can be tricky, but I was stoked with how they came out.

I was commissioned by Koi Fusion to customize two large communal tables, along with painting a mural in their first brick + mortar location on SE 30th & Division. I’ve been a fan of their food for years, so it’s been awesome to hear their story first hand and interpret that visually. Opening day is 4/20, so do that.

Band took some great shots of the murals I painted at ADX over the holidays.
If you haven’t checked out Band please do, they are a supremely talented duo with big hearts.
Same goes for ADX, they are a community woodshop/metal-shop that has provided a ton of support and resources for Portland’s creative community, and I’m honored to leave my mark within their walls.

POW! WOW! Hawaii was such an amazing, chaotic blur of inspiration and talent, I’m grateful I got the opportunity to leave my mark in Kaka’ako and to pick up some life-long friends and memories along the way.
